New Dress

Hello all. First I want to say that I am in great spirits at the moment. My handsome demon prince in sleeping right next to me, I can't ask for anything more....well except maybe a lovely new dress to share with you!

Melty Mermaid Princess
from
Alice and the Pirates
I got the matching socks as well because I don't really have that many socks and none with blue in them.
Here are some detail shoots,I just love this print so much.

Also this is the first dress I've gotten that has the crossing straps in the front. I really do like the image it creates and it takes away the need to wear a necklace. The fabric is nice and light so I can wear it on warm days and not be over heated.

And me in the dress.
I didn't really add anything to the outfit because it is a really busy print.
I just need a dark simple bow.
Shoes: Bodyline rocking horse

I just want to give another shot out to Tokyo Rebel, whom I order the dress from. They always give me great service and fast shipping. I will continue to shop from them.

Outfit Post -4/12/11

I haven't done any outfit post in such a long time. The main reason is due to time. I haven't really had the chance to dress up at all, lately....this makes me very sad. And when I do I don't get a moment to snap a few pictures. Well on Tuesday I made some time when we went down to the park.

I had some fun on the swing!
Dress is Putumayo ( I love my KittyDragon dress)
I add a nice petticoat from another outfit b/c it's just a little too short, it gives it a good leangth and looks like it belongs. Also I added a belt to give it more of a waist. I don't think I look good if there isn't some shape in my outfits.
Boots are a great $8 find from Goodwill last year
Tights Hot Topic clearance rack

Here is an outfit from a couple weeks ago.
Skirt is Baby the Stars Shine Bright
Cardigan is from Charlotte Russe
Can't really see them but boots from Bodyline
(see my Kingdom Hearts Wall Scroll?)

I hope everyone has a lovely day. I hope to have some new outfit shots from when I go to Anime Boston. I'll be there all weekend!!!

Lots of Dress Up

I have been trying to take the clothes I have and create new outfits. Here are the results from the past couple of weeks.
1/9/11:
Here I took a summer dress and wore in the cold. The sundress was made be my mother. Sweater is from Aero when I worked there 3 years ago. Necklace from Avon, I had to get it b/c it matched the print so well
 1/11/11
Dress and Blouse Bodyline. Coat is from Macy's last winter and fur hood/scarf is also from Avon.
 1/16/11
Shirt is from Charlotte Russe. Skirt is Bodyline, I love the Alice print. Candy pin was a gift when I placed an order from Glamasaurus. Hello Kitty watch to finish it off.
1/19/11
Skirt hand made from Cosplay 007 on ebay. Shirt was a gift for Christmas. It says "We're all mad here" Punked it out with combat boots and my Nana cosplay coat.

I hope you enjoyed the fashion show!
All photos by me.

Celebrate the Days Together!

On Saturday my handsome Knight and I went out for the evening to celebrate his birthday and our 7 year anniversary. We took a customary trip to a big mall(we both love to shop), eat, and watch a movie. One of the reasons we like to go out to big places is so that we can people watch. It's fun for us to see how people react in public. Also we like to dress up ourselves and show off our fun clothing. This was my outfit.

When we got to the mall we found a new jewelry store, Temptation. Oh My it is very shinny! There were so many things to love and try on. We had a blast. I got a lovely crown bracelet and ring, as well as a sweet popsicle necklace and shinny headband. I can't wait to put together new outfits to match my new accessories.

Also I saved for last the Sanrio store. Oh Hello Kitty galore! I have to pace myself when in that store because everything is just too cute! I am so happy that we have a Sanrio in CT, it so much better then shopping online. I played the $1 spin the wheel game(everyone is a winner) and got a sticker coloring book! My knight also found the fake nails for me. Another thing to plan and outfit around!

We had a great day together. If only he was home for good!

Birthdays in Wonderland

On May 22 I turned 25, yuck! I don't like the idea of getting any older. So I was asked what I wanted to do for my birthday and I wanted to do a Lolita photo shoot. I have been working on creating a fairy garden and would have loved to have taken the photos there but my mother's gardens are so much prettier then mine. So my besties came over. Nalani dress as a little boy, her favorite kind of character to be. Amy was able to wear one of her new outfits as well so we where all excited. Amy's friend Sarah was here, so she took the lovely pictures with her awesome camera. These are the results. We had a hard time keeping a straight face, Amy just couldn't be serious! But it made it even more fun. Thanks to my great friends who help me feel very special. If you wish to see more photos from our fun shoot please go to my deviant art page. http://kittydragon.deviantart.com/
