New Dress

Hello all. First I want to say that I am in great spirits at the moment. My handsome demon prince in sleeping right next to me, I can't ask for anything more....well except maybe a lovely new dress to share with you!

Melty Mermaid Princess
from
Alice and the Pirates
I got the matching socks as well because I don't really have that many socks and none with blue in them.
Here are some detail shoots,I just love this print so much.

Also this is the first dress I've gotten that has the crossing straps in the front. I really do like the image it creates and it takes away the need to wear a necklace. The fabric is nice and light so I can wear it on warm days and not be over heated.

And me in the dress.
I didn't really add anything to the outfit because it is a really busy print.
I just need a dark simple bow.
Shoes: Bodyline rocking horse

I just want to give another shot out to Tokyo Rebel, whom I order the dress from. They always give me great service and fast shipping. I will continue to shop from them.

CT Con 2011

Time for some midnight blogging! So I tired to do a post a couple days ago about my trip to CT Con but Blogger was just driving me insane. I'm trying again and just keeping it short.
I had a great time again this year. I did mostly the big events like Death Match, FMVs and the Masquerade. I know a lot of con goers think these things a cheesy and stupid but hell what are cons for? I was good and kept my money spending to a minimal, well kinda. Got some more great fanart and more manga. On Friday my friend Michelle, who I met on Deviantart, took some awesome pics for my friends and I. It was a lot of fun, I wish I could do more photo shoots. Maybe she will do some more for me in the future. I just had a good time all around being with so many of my awesome friends and getting to hangout with people I don't get to see often. Now on with the outfits!

Happy Belated Lolita Day

Better late then never! So this past weekend was IDL as most of you ladies know. This year I returned to NYC for another panel discussion at Kinokuniya Bookstore. I'll be honest I didn't have as much fun as the year before but I think part of that was because my friend Amy wasn't able to join me.

Tara and Megan were the first ladies to go up and chat. They are the shop girls from Tokyo Rebel. You get to see them a lot in videos they do on the site's blog. We got an exciting announcement that Tokyo Rebel is going to be have a tea party to celabrate them carrying Baby the Stars Shine Bright. It was nice being able to ask them some questions about the store and themselves.

Next was Aly from Miss Lumpys blog. Number one I love her blog, her post are always to sweet and she really has an elegant way of writing. So defiantly check her blog out! She came to speak to us about her recent trip to Japan and her experience being a Western Lolita there. What I though was interesting was how the "rules" don't seem to be as important there, and they seem to explore with different styles instead of identifying with just one style.  Also I found it neat that she wasn't really viewed as a tourist when she was dressed in Lolita over more common clothes.
I was also excited to get the chance to chat with her after her panel. She is very sweet and I hope that we get to meet again at another meet up along with  Puchi Puchi .  She is another CT blogger I got to meet .

After that we went to the Sanrio store to pick up some cute Hello Kittyness and then to a noodle shop for lunch. All and all it was a good Loliday. I think that I need to have some big plans for the next one in December! Now with my outfit pics!

Outfit Post - Daffodill Festival

On Saturday instead of paying to travel to NYC for the Mastsuri Festival, Amy and I saved the money and went our local Daffodil Festival.  It was a lovely afternoon even though many of the daffodils had already passed. Many of the other trees were still in bloom though. Here are some shots from the trip.
Weeping Willows are my favorite tree, and this one is so lovely.

We tried not to crush any flowers in the making of this photo

Because it was still kinda chilly I wore a longer more gothic outfit.
Dress- Handmade from Ebay
Blouse-Bodyline
Socks-Fanplusfriend
Shoes-had forver
Hat-gift from James
Amy's outfit is a skirt from Fanplusfriend with her zombie Hello Kitty shirt

Lots of Dress Up

I have been trying to take the clothes I have and create new outfits. Here are the results from the past couple of weeks.
1/9/11:
Here I took a summer dress and wore in the cold. The sundress was made be my mother. Sweater is from Aero when I worked there 3 years ago. Necklace from Avon, I had to get it b/c it matched the print so well
 1/11/11
Dress and Blouse Bodyline. Coat is from Macy's last winter and fur hood/scarf is also from Avon.
 1/16/11
Shirt is from Charlotte Russe. Skirt is Bodyline, I love the Alice print. Candy pin was a gift when I placed an order from Glamasaurus. Hello Kitty watch to finish it off.
1/19/11
Skirt hand made from Cosplay 007 on ebay. Shirt was a gift for Christmas. It says "We're all mad here" Punked it out with combat boots and my Nana cosplay coat.

I hope you enjoyed the fashion show!
All photos by me.

ILD and Christmas Cheer

I couldn't celebrate ILD on Saturday because I had to work so I dressed up today instead.  After dying my hair another new color and painting my nails we went to play mini-golf.  We are lucky that the local mall has indoor glow-in-the dark course, my skirt and socks were all glowing. It was fun to twirl and glow! As we left my lovely prince bought me a new pair of cupcake earrings to go with my cuteness. In the evening we went to my parents for dinner where we got to see the their lovely christmas tree. It is so huge!
Anyways outft rundown
